I finally found one of the environmental clips that MTV used to run back in 1989. Believe it or not, this is one of the things that originally inspired me to be environmentally conscious and set me on the path of the lifestyle I want to have. Let me know if you find more of these. I thought they were really good.

wow, that's some acidic rain!
Sure must have been very eye opening back then.
The good news is that (at least in scandinavia - I don't know about other places) acid rain is a very limited problem by now, as there is so much regulation on factories. I guess it just means that we move on to some other problem - like loss of biodiversity and climate changes... le sigh!
Sometimes it seems like such an uphill struggle....
